About North Sacramento Sports Commission
Our Mission
The North Sacramento Sports Commission (NSSC) is committed to enriching the lives of youth participants (ages 5-18) in our communities through sports and education. The primary objective is to establish and manage youth sports leagues that provide safe, structured, and supervised environments kids can learn the fundamentals of various sports, teamwork, sportsmanship, and that sports should not replace scholastic achievements in terms of priority.
In addition to our youth sports leagues, we provide clinics and workshops for Coaches to which emphasize effective communication and empathetic leadership. We also offer a wealth of knowledge for the parents and guardians of our participants in a wide range of topics from nutrition, balancing the competitive athlete's journey, to mental health awareness, and understanding NIL deals.
Our History
The North Sacramento Sports Commission was created to build a community of coaches, parents, and administrators who teach not only the value of winning and losing, but to a greater degree the life lessons, that come from being a apart of team sports and having fun.

Our mission with this memorial fund is to provide scholarships, academic resources, and mentorship programs to promising student-athletes who demonstrate a strong commitment to their academic and athletic careers.
